The GAA in partnership with the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team and other interested Community Organisations have recognized the need to provide people with memory problems and dementia and their carers support.
This facility provides people with memory problems or dementia and their carers the opportunity to meet with other people in similar circumstances.
The GAA centre provides a safe and confidential environment allowing people to openly talk about issues, gain emotional support and reduce the feeling of isolation. Information will be available as well as practical tips about coping with dementia and memory problems.
Every Monday morning from 10.30 until 12 noon. Refreshments available.View Diary
